In the game

The quick way. It happens straight away and you do not have to talk to anyone.

  1. Open Settings

    Tap your level badge to open your profile, then SETTINGS.

  2. Tap DELETE ACCOUNT

    It is on the account card, under your Player ID.

  3. Confirm

    The game asks once more, because it cannot be undone.

Without the game

If you have uninstalled it or cannot open it, email [email protected] from any address and tell us your Player ID. It is the code on the account card in Settings, and it is how we find the right account, since the game never asked for your name or email.

No Player ID? Tell us the name and number you played under, like Name#1234, and roughly when you last played. We may ask a question or two to make sure the account is yours.

We delete the account within 30 days and reply when it is done.

What gets deleted

Online account
The anonymous account and its Player ID. Deleted.
Cloud save
Your progress, fish, cosmetics, coins and pearls. Deleted.
Public profile
Your name, friend code, character and the stats other players could see. Deleted.
Friends
Your friends list, requests and blocks. Deleted.
Worldwide records
Any record held in your name. Deleted.
Save on your phone
Wiped when you delete in the game. If you ask by email, uninstalling the game removes it.

What stays, and for how long

Daily Derby rows
Your score on that day's boards stays until the boards are wiped at 00:00 UTC, so one day at most.
Purchases
The record of what you bought belongs to your Google Play account, not to us. Google keeps it under its own policy. Things bought once can be restored if you play again. Coins and pearls cannot.
Subscriptions
Deleting the account does not cancel Fish Club. Cancel it in Google Play, under Payments and subscriptions.
Ad data
Ad companies hold what they collected under your device's advertising ID. We cannot delete that for you. You can reset or delete the ID in Android's settings, under Privacy, Ads.
Your email to us
If you asked by email, we keep the message for up to 90 days as proof the request was handled, then delete it.

Only want part of it gone?

You can change your name, hide your country, leave the Fish Research Program and unblock or remove friends in the game without deleting anything. For anything else, email us and say which part.
