Descriptions
One line
GYUGYU is a first-person physics roguelite about oshiya, the platform staff who cram rush-hour passengers onto trains before the doors close.
Short
Cram bouncy passengers onto rush-hour trains before the doors close. Hit the quota, get paid, pick strange upgrades, and keep your station open through increasingly unreasonable shifts, solo or as a crew.
Long
The train pulls in, the doors open, and you have thirty seconds. You are an oshiya, a professional train pusher, and from first person you see rush hour at eye level: your white-gloved hands shove and grab as a wall of passengers pushes back. Every passenger is a physics body with somewhere else to be, from the salaryman who sprints for the doors at the last second to the grandma who will not move unless pushed and the man whose umbrella opens when anyone touches him.
Each shift is a run of trains with a passenger quota. Miss it and you are fined and lose reputation; lose all of it and the station closes. Between shifts a vending machine rolls onto the platform with upgrades that change how you play, and you pick your next stop along a line of six stations that ends on New Year's Eve.
